Strome (upper body) will miss Anaheim's first two games, the team announced Wednesday.
That rules Strome out for the Ducks' road clashes in Seattle on Thursday and San Jose on Saturday. The 32-year-old had 10 goals, 41 points and 70 PIM in 82 regular-season outings with Anaheim in 2024-25. Due to Strome's absence, Beckett Sennecke will likely make his NHL debut against the Kraken on Thursday in a top-six spot.
