Rieder signed a professional tryout offer with the Ducks on Wednesday, CapFriendly reports.
Rieder drew into 44 games with the Sabres last season, picking up five goals, seven points and 63 shots on net while averaging 12:15 of ice time per contest. The 28-year-old vet will hope to perform well enough to secure a contract with Anaheim during the team's upcoming training camp.
