Coronato was assigned to AHL Calgary in a paper transaction Friday, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Coronato is only being assigned to the minors on paper in order to make him eligible for the AHL playoffs, so look for him to be promoted prior to Saturday's game against Florida. The 21-year-old winger has picked up two assists through his last five NHL appearances.
