Coronato (undisclosed) won't take part in Thursday's skate for maintenance reasons.
Coronato suffered the injury during Wednesday's preseason contest against Vancouver and exited the game in the third period as a result. The 21-year-old is fighting for a bottom-six role with the Flames, and an extended absence could hurt his chances of making the Opening Night roster. However, his absence from Thursday's skate being cited as maintenance might indicate that the injury isn't significant.
