Gridin scored a goal on two shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Hurricanes.
Gridin cashed in on a rebound in the second period to get the Flames on the board. He's gotten on the scoresheet in consecutive games and has a total of three points through eight outings. The 20-year-old forward has added 14 shots on net, four blocked shots and a minus-8 rating. Gridin will be given as many chances as he can handle this year since the Flames have a largely inexperienced forward group.
