Kerins scored a pair of goals in AHL Calgary's 4-3 win over Bakersfield on Saturday.
Kerins has had a little bit of a slow start with four points over seven games in the AHL this season. The 24-year-old had 57 points in 56 regular-season outings last year. Kerins could get a look with the big club at some point this season, but the Flames may also give those opportunities to younger prospects instead.
