Johnson (illness) was traded from Buffalo to Philadelphia in exchange for a 2024 fourth-round pick Friday, according to Chris Johnston of The Athletic.
Johnson should replace Adam Ginning on the third pairing once he arrives and is healthy enough to play for the Flyers. Johnson has three goals, 93 hits and 68 blocked shots in 50 games this season.
