Staal (upper body) has been taken off injured reserve and could return to the lineup against Vegas on Saturday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Staal could replace Egor Zamula in the lineup. Staal has missed the last 12 games and had played in only four contests without tallying a point before his injury.
