Ristolainen (triceps) was seen skating with his teammates Sept. 3 and is expected to be ready for the start of training camp, Jon Bailey of Philly Hockey Now reports.

Ristolainen sustained the injury in February but didn't undergo surgery until April. While it was described as a ruptured triceps tendon, the procedure was never expected to keep Ristolainen out at the start of the preseason. He should be in the mix for a bottom-four role in 2024-25, though he's unlikely to provide much offense since he's reached the 20-point mark in just one of his three years with the Flyers.
