Morin is dealing with an undisclosed injury that will prevent him from joining the Flyers for the beginning of training camp, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
With Philadelphia having completely revamped its blue line with the additions of Ryan Ellis, Rasmus Ristolainen and Keith Yandle, any time missed by Morin for training camp won't improve his chances of making the 23-man roster. The 26-year-old Quebec native could also feature as a forward this season, which could give him another opportunity to break into the lineup.
