Couturier (abdomen) skated with his potential first-line partners at Friday's training camp session, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Couturier doesn't appear to be suffering any lingering effects from offseason sports hernia surgery and should be all set for the start of the 2024-25 campaign. It's been two years since the veteran center was able to top the 40-point threshold, coming up just two points shy last season. If the Arizona native can get himself back on the No. 1 power-play unit, he should be able to jump back over that mark in 2024-25.
