Carolina has reclaimed Primeau off waivers from Toronto on Saturday, per Chris Johnston of The Athletic.

Primeau will report AHL Chicago. The Maple Leafs claimed Primeau off waivers from Carolina on Oct. 6, and he went on to post a 2-1-0 record, 4.31 GAA and .838 save percentage across three appearances with Toronto. Carolina acquired Primeau from Montreal in the offseason and signed him to a one-year contract to develop in the minors. He will finally end up there after struggling as a fill-in option for Joseph Woll (personal) with the Maple Leafs.
