Tokarski was recalled by the Hurricanes on Wednesday.
Tokarski joined the Hurricanes on a two-way deal Monday, and he'll join the NHL club a few days later since Spencer Martin was assigned to AHL Chicago in a corresponding move. Tokarski should serve as the backup to Pyotr Kochetkov since Frederik Andersen (knee) remains sidelined.
