Blake was recalled from AHL Chicago on Sunday.

As expected, Blake's demotion to the minors was a temporary move. He has recorded two goals, 12 shots on net and one hit in four appearances with Carolina this season. Blake will likely occupy a fourth-line role and get time on the second power-play unit against Edmonton on Tuesday.
