Martinook scored a shorthanded empty-net goal on two shots and added three hits in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
Martinook's last two goals have been shorties, and he has three of them this season. The 33-year-old winger is up to 11 goals, 25 points, 103 shots on net, 111 hits, 33 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 71 outings. Martinook continues to handle third-line minutes at even strength, but it looks like he'll fall short of the 30-point mark for the first time since 2021-22, barring a late surge of offense.
