Aho scored an empty-net goal on three shots and added two hits in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Devils.

Aho has a goal, five shots on net, two hits and two blocked shots over two appearances. The center was held off the scoresheet in the season opener versus the Lightning, but it's rare for Aho to go through extended droughts. The 27-year-old has exceeded 80 points in two of the last three years and has a decent chance of reaching that mark again as the Hurricanes' top forward in 2024-25.
