Jarvis inked an eight-year, $63.2 million contract with the Hurricanes on Saturday.
The 22-year-old forward had a career-best 33 goals and 34 assists in 81 regular-season games with the Hurricanes last season. He continued his outstanding play in the playoffs with five goals and nine points in 11 appearances. Jarvis will start the season on the top line, alongside Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov, as well as the first power-play unit and could hit the 80-point mark in 2024-25.
