Jost signed a one-year, $775,000 contract with the Hurricanes on Monday, according to Darren Dreger of TSN.
Jost had three goals, six points and 44 hits in 43 appearances with the Sabres in 2023-24. He might make the Hurricanes' roster out of training camp, but the 26-year-old will likely be a frequent healthy scratch.
