Jost was called up from AHL Chicago on Sunday.
Jost has yet to appear in a game with the Hurricanes, and he's collected a goal and two assists through eight games with the Wolves this season. The left-shot forward signed a one-year deal with Carolina in July after logging six points over 43 regular-season outings with the Sabres in 2023-24.
