Cholowski was assigned to AHL Bridgeport on Monday.
Cholowski played in two games with New York following his recall from the minors last Wednesday. He has 17 assists in 35 AHL outings this year. The Islanders activated Adam Pelech (head) from injured reserve in a corresponding move.
