Pulock might be replaced in the lineup by Grant Hutton. The 29-year-old Pulock earned five goals, 19 points, 90 shots on net, 149 blocked shots and 99 hits across 58 regular-season outings in 2023-24. Even if he doesn't play in the Islanders' preseason finale against the Rangers on Friday, he stands a good chance of being ready for Opening Night versus Utah on Oct. 10.
