Varlamov will patrol the home crease Saturday versus Montreal, according to Andrew Gross of Newsday.
Varlamov has posted a record of 0-1-1 this season while stopping 45 of 52 shots. He went 1-2-0 in three outings against the Canadiens during the 2023-24 regular season, surrendering 10 goals on 80 shots.
