Eklund scored a power-play goal on three shots and added six hits in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Kings.
Eklund has scored in consecutive contests for the first time in his career. The six hits were also a career best for the 20-year-old winger, who has shown a bit of an edge to his game so far. He has three goals, one assist, 15 shots on net, 25 hits, eight PIM and a plus-2 rating through 10 outings this season.
