Lambert was placed on waivers Tuesday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Lambert has been a healthy scratch in three of Winnipeg's past five games, including the last two. He has one assist, four shots on net and eight hits in 11 NHL appearances this season. If he clears waivers, Lambert will likely report to AHL Manitoba.
