Zhilkin was loaned to AHL Manitoba on Friday.
Zhilkin spent the past week with the Jets and recorded an assist and two hits while averaging 6:16 of ice time over two appearances during his stint with the NHL club. He should have more consistent opportunities to contribute in the minors.
