Brossoit was thrust into duty Sunday when starter Connor Hellebuyck was pulled at the end of the second period. He made four saves in relief as the Jets fell 5-1 to the Avalanche in Game 4.
Hellebuyck was pulled in the second period after allowing four goals, so Brossoit took over between the pipes and turned aside all four shots sent his way. The Avalanche added an empty-netter with only 13 seconds left in the game. This was Brossoit's first appearance in the playoffs. Look for Winnipeg to return to Hellebuyck when the Jets host Colorado in Game 5 on Tuesday.
