Ehlers scored twice on five shots, added an assist and went plus-3 in Friday's 8-3 win over the Sharks.
Ehlers had a hand in three of the Jets' four goals in the first period, which set the tone for the game. His first tally came on the power play. The 28-year-old winger now has two goals, three assists, 10 shots on net, three hits and a plus-4 rating over four appearances this season. He should continue to see time on the second line and first power-play unit, giving him plenty of upside as a winger who has reached the 60-point mark on three occasions.
