Ford scored twice and added an assist in AHL Manitoba's 4-3 win over Iowa on Friday.
Ford has three goals and six assists over eight games to start this season. He had 26 points in 52 regular-season games with Manitoba last year, as well as one helper over 15 outings with the Jets. Ford would be a call-up option if Viggo Bjorck gets sent down at some point, but Brayden Yager is probably ahead of Ford in the priority.
