Milic turned aside 23 of 27 shots during Saturday's 5-2 preseason loss to the Oilers. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.
Milic drew the start during Saturday's preseason opener and wasn't particularly sharp during his first tune-up ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. The Jets have some uncertainty in the crease ahead of the upcoming season due to Connor Hellebuyck's suspension amid his trade request, so Milic is in the mix to serve as Stuart Skinner's primary backup.
