Kuemper is expected to guard the home goal for Saturday's preseason game against Anaheim, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.
Kuemper had a 31-11-7 record, 2.02 GAA and .921 save percentage across 50 regular-season appearances with the Kings in 2024-25. He's expected to open this season as LA's No. 1 netminder, so he'll probably also get the nod for Tuesday's regular-season opener versus Colorado.
