Pederson scored a pair of goals in AHL Ontario's 5-2 loss to Texas on Saturday.
Pederson has provided veteran experience for the Reign, earning four goals and seven assists over eight games this season. The 29-year-old forward could be a call-up candidate, but the Kings have a handful of younger forwards that are also in the mix. Pederson saw action in five regular-season games with the Flyers last year but didn't earn a point during his NHL time.
