Copley was reassigned to AHL Ontario on Friday.
Copley was called up earlier in the week so he could back up Anton Forsberg for Thursday's game in San Jose, allowing Darcy Kuemper to rest. With that assignment fulfilled, Copley returns to the Reign, where he is likely to spend a majority of the campaign unless the Kings' goaltending duo gets disrupted by an injury.
