Head coach Lane Lambert said Thursday that Stephenson (undisclosed) is considered day-to-day, Alison Lukan of the Kraken Hockey Network reports.
Stephenson sustained an undisclosed injury during Tuesday's preseason game against the Flames, but it doesn't appear as though he's facing a long-term absence. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to return to game action, but it seems possible that he'll be back to full health in time for Opening Night against the Ducks on Oct. 9.
