Johansson will guard the road goal in Saturday's preseason game against Nashville, per the NHL media site.
Johansson will look for a better showing after allowing seven goals on 26 shots in Wednesday's 8-7 win over Florida. Regardless of how he does in the preseason, though, Johansson is expected to start the campaign as Tampa Bay's No. 2 goaltender behind Andrei Vasilevskiy.
