Vejmelka is slated to defend the road crease against the Capitals on Tuesday, according to Cole Bagley of KSL Sports.
Vejmelka will continue to see workhorse usage while the Mammoth battle to make the postseason -- this will be his eighth start in a row, and he's played in 18 of 20 games since the calendar flipped to January. His results have been mixed lately, as he's alternated wins and losses over his last four starts, a span during which he's surrendered 11 goals on 107 shots (.897 save percentage). Vejmelka will face a Capitals team that is coming off a 6-2 loss to Montreal following a three-game winning streak.
