Hildeby made 33 saves Saturday in a 7-2 win over Pittsburgh.
It was Hildeby's first win of the season (1-2-1) in his sixth appearance. The Maple Leafs have struggled defensively this season, but the team played better in front of him while providing plenty of offensive support. Hildeby will remain the team's No. 2 option behind Joseph Woll while Anthony Stolarz (upper body) remains sidelined.
