Scott was assigned to AHL Toronto on Sunday.
Scott has yet to make his NHL debut. In fact, he hasn't played a game at any level since the 2018-19 campaign due to a hip injury. The 22-year-old is healthy now, so he'll aim to get some ice time with the AHL affiliate.
