Quillan was reassigned to AHL Toronto on Wednesday, per David Alter of The Hockey News.
Auston Matthews (lower body) and Nicolas Roy (upper body) are being activated off injured reserve to return Wednesday versus Columbus, so Quillan is being returned to the minors to free up a roster spot. The 23-year-old Quillan has no points, one shot and six hits in two appearances with the Maple Leafs in 2025-26.
