Tavares (illness) won't play Saturday against Pittsburgh, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Tavares will miss at least one contest after being absent from Saturday's morning skate. He has one goal on six shots in two outings this campaign. Due to Tavares' absence, Max Domi will shift to center in Saturday's contest, while Ryan Reaves will draw back into the lineup.
