Marner delivered three assists, including two on the power play, in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Kings.
Marner was unable to score for a second game in a row, but he still found a way to contribute and dazzled as a playmaker with a season-high three assists. He set up an even-strength goal from Auston Matthews in the first period, a power-play tally from William Nylander in the second and John Tavares' PP goal in the third. Marner went scoreless in his first two outings of the season but has racked up five points (one goal, four assists) over his last two appearances, a streak he'll aim to continue when the Maple Leafs host the Rangers on Saturday.
