Sceviour cleared waivers and was assigned to the taxi squad Saturday.
Sceviour has averaged 10:39 of ice time and generated four points over the last 20 games. The 32-year-old hasn't played in the AHL since 2013-14 but may be reassigned to AHL Bakersfield if Edmonton's 14 currently-rostered forwards remain healthy.
