Perry scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Blackhawks.

Facing one of his former teams, Perry broke the Oilers' goal drought at 4:55 of the second period. The winger has filled a fourth-line role in both games this season, picking up five shots on net in addition to his goal. The 39-year-old is not guaranteed to be an everyday player, but the Oilers don't have any spare forwards on the roster as they operate close to the cap ceiling.
