Bouchard notched two assists, including one on the power play, and added two shots on goal and a minus-3 rating in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Ducks in Game 3.
These were Bouchard's first two points of the playoffs. He's taken a minus-6 rating while adding four shots on net and three blocked shots. The 26-year-old led all NHL defensemen in the regular season with 95 points, and he added 221 shots on net, 101 blocked shots and a plus-25 rating, which suggested some serious growth in his own zone. However, he's done some backsliding defensively in this series. The offense should be a plus for him -- prior to this postseason, Bouchard had collected 81 points over 75 career playoff games across four runs.
