Klingberg (lower body) was placed on long-term injured reserve Wednesday.

Klingberg will miss the remainder of the regular season. At this point, he probably won't be considered one of the Oilers' six best defensemen even if he is healthy enough to play in the playoffs. His move to LTIR will free up some cap space as the Oilers deal with an injury crisis late in the season.
