Ekholm recorded an assist and four shots on goal in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Blackhawks.
Ekholm has a helper, six shots on net and two blocked shots over two appearances this season. The 34-year-old blueliner continues to play on the top pairing and second power-play unit. Ekholm's proximity to superstars makes him an interesting fantasy defenseman, especially when he can chip in 100-plus hits and blocked shots as well, but he'll likely top out around the 40-point mark.
