Ekholm (illness) won't play Saturday versus the Maple Leafs, Bob Stauffer of the Oilers Radio Network reports.
Ekholm missed Friday's practice after playing through the illness Thursday. However, he will miss at least one game. Troy Stecher is set to return to the Oilers' lineup in a bottom-four role.
