Philp was reassigned to AHL Bakersfield on Thursday.
Philp has two assists over 12 appearances with Edmonton in 2024-25. He also has nine goals and 17 points across 28 outings with Bakersfield this season, and he'll have an opportunity to work with the minor-league club during the NHL's break for the 4 Nations Face-Off.
