Philp was recalled from AHL Bakersfield on Tuesday.
Philp has nine goals and 17 points in 28 AHL appearances this season. He has one assist, four shots on goal, one hit and one blocked shot in three NHL outings this campaign. Philp will be an option for Wednesday's matchup versus Minnesota.
