Griffith was waived by Edmonton on Saturday.
Edmonton intends to assign Griffith to Bakersfield of the AHL if he clears. He racked up 30 goals and 80 points in 64 games with the Condors last campaign. Griffith also skated in one game for the Oilers during the 2021-22 season.
