Podkolzin scored an empty-net goal in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Blackhawks.
Podzolkin closed out the scoring for the Oilers with an empty-netter at the 18:59 mark of the final frame. The goal also gave the winger 17 on the season, and he should continue to find plenty of scoring opportunities if he stays on the first line alongside Connor McDavid and Matt Savoie.
